To deliver on it’s promise of optimum Mac support, ArenaNet is partnering with TransGaming “whose revolutionary Cider technology dynamically translates between operating environments”.
Users can access the Mac beta client through the account management website after activating their game code. Unlike other betas, the Guild Wars 2 Mac beta is apparently connected to live servers allowing both PC and Mac users to play together. A beta version for Mac is now available for anyone who purchases the full game. NCsoft and ArenaNet have announced that Guild Wars 2, their highly successful MMO, will also feature Mac OS X support down the line.
